Cost of IPL Treatment
We charge $189 for one full face IPL session. Neck/decollete is an additional $99. Any additional area (for example both hands) are $99. Individual sunspots without full facial treatment are $59 each.
There is a 10% discount to packages of three or more full face or face + neck sessions purchased. If you opt for a monthly appointment schedule for regular maintenance, we provide a 15% discount.
Limelight IPL vs Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a light removal of the top layer of skin only, and not an intense pulsed light therapy like our Limelight IPL procedure. Unlike dermabrasion, Limelight IPL will even out red and brown pigments, as the light energy takes up these areas and causes them to recede. As such the facial skin appears more youthful than with dermabrasion because of the uniformity of the colouration and lack of red and brown pigments.

How long does it take?
Skin rejuvenation with Limelight IPL® takes approximately 30 minutes.
Does IPL treatment hurt?
When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. No local anaesthesia or pain medication is required. Gel is recommended to cool the skin before treatments.
How many sessions are required?
Although each individual case varies, most individuals require anywhere from 1 to 4 treatments to see results. The number of treatments will depend on the severity of the condition treated. This can be best determined through a free consultation.
What will my skin look like immediately post-treatment?
Immediately after treatment brown spots will darken and your skin will appear slightly red. The treated area may be slightly swollen. Typically this will last a few hours and possibly a day or longer. Make-up can be applied to cover the redness.
How long does it take to see results?
The majority of patients will see results within one to three weeks. The dark spots will flake off and fade. The redness will decrease and your complexion will improve.
