We have three different hair removal lasers, each with different power profiles and skin cooling systems to optimize your procedure. Natasha will analyze your skin type and hair type and decide which laser, or if a combination of the systems, will work best for you. Unlike many laser hair removal machines which operate with a single wavelength of laser for all skin types, these machines actually adjust the laser wavelength for your individual skin type. This maximizes hair removal effectiveness and lowers the number of treatments and therefore lowers the cost to you.
Laser hair removal treatment can remove hair over six sessions anywhere on the body if the hair is brown or black in colour. Our certified laser technician Natasha is happy to meet for a free consultation and test patching session regarding any of our laser hair removal procedures. She will assess your skin type with a questionnaire and examination, and then perform free test patching during the first visit. Test patching is essential with laser hair removal. It is performed to select the most effective laser system and setting for your particular skin type and to prevent burns. Some laser hair removal clinics advertise “no test patching necessary with our laser”, but lasers with integrated skin pigment sensors typically underestimate the power level needed to remove hair and therefore clients purchase too many sessions to make up for this and waste money. We only use the most advanced Alexandrite lasers in our clinic – we have never used weaker diode lasers that often require 10+ sessions and do not remove hair very effectively.
